Cole's 3rd Birthday

 Better late than never!

Here is Cole's 3rd birthday interview:

How old are you? Tan't member. (can't remember) Are you three now? No..yea. 2, 169
Who is your best friend? Tucker.
What is your favorite thing to do? Play with my guns and these (new fourwheeler toy).
What is your favorite color? All of the colors.
What is your favorite food? All of the food, like what, i like candy too, and what..and pizza to eat.
What do you like to do with your family? Play with my blocks.
What is your favorite toy? My guns.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A dinosaur.
What makes you happy? Nuffing (nothing).
What makes you sad? Some guy shot me.
What is your favorite show to watch? PBS, dinosaur, I like Wild Kratts.
What is your favorite book? Mickey Mouse book.
What do you love to learn about? To.... nuffing. (nothing)
What was the best part of your birthday? Eating some of my tandy. (candy)
Where do you like to go? To Dammy's (grammy) house, and to da Pizza Hut.
Who was your teacher? Addisyn's mom- she gives me food.
What is your favorite treat? Tandy. (candy)
What do you think about before you fall asleep? Books.
If you could meet someone famous, who would it be? (points to ryan)
What was your favorite birthday present? My dun. (gun)
What is the color of your hair? Black.
What color are your eyes? I don't know, blue.
What is your favorite drink? Uummmm pop. What kind of pop Cole? The yellow pop and the orange pop. (we had orange and pineapple flavored soda at his party. : )
What is your favorite fruit? Apple.
The coolest person on earth is? I don't know.
The thing you do most awesomely is? I ride my bike really awesome.
The thing you like to do most with daddy is? Shoot Tucker's bb dun (gun) wif (with)Tucker
The thing you like to do most with mommy is? Have food. : )
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? I dont know, Dammy's (grammy's)
What is your favorite memory? Ummm, poop. going to blake's house.

That is my grandpa that we named Cole after.

I still need to get his 3rd birthday party pictures off of Ryan's i-phone. Just before his birthday, when I was still asleep in the morning, apparently Cole found my camera and chucked it down the hall. A piece was missing off of the camera and we couldn't find it! It wouldn't turn on without that one piece. Anyway, short story long, birthday party pics are coming soon. He had a dinosaur birthday party. It was fun to plan for him!! : )

Some things I want to remember about Cole right now:

He is very stubborn. He gets it from both of his parents. : )

He is very determined and will do what it takes to get something done.

He loves sweets (and really any other food).

The way he talks with his lips all pooched up in front.

As a baby, he never wanted to be held. As a toddler, he never wanted to snuggle. Now, as a preschooler, he always wants me to lay with him until he falls asleep. I LOVE it. I don't do it every time because I don't want a bad habit to start, but I sure do love to snuggle with him. FINALLY!

He loves to dance.

He loves to sing.

He loves to help do things around the house like unloading the dishwasher, helping put clothes in the dryer, help me cook, help me "drive" in our driveway.

He loves Mackenzie to the point that she is almost annoyed with him. : ) If Tucker is around, she will always go to him first, just because Tucker loves on her but gives her room. Cole smother's her and kisses and squeezes and drags her around. But when Tucker is at school, she and Cole are little devils, I mean best-friends. ; )

He loves to read.

He is lefthanded for most things. I don't know why, but I don't want to force him to change to conform to the right-handed world we live in. I just feel like that is his body's natural way to do things, so to let him do it. He does do somethings righthanded, so we will see when he gets older what he chooses.

He loves all of his grandparents!

I just got a calling to be in nursery, so I get to be with him for a few more months before he goes into primary.

He is very fast at running.

He is starting to pick up baseball more.

He almost always takes his shoes off. And he still functions quite well, even on rough terrain.

He does NOT like when clothes/shoes are even remotely tight on him. He flips out.

He wants to be just like Tucker. In every.way.possible.

He is finally starting to say prayers out loud. He has never wanted to until recently.

He is getting funnier and funnier every day! He really says some crazy funny stuff!

He is so strong and agile!

He is super ticklish.

He is very talkative and will repeat things until you acknowledge that you heard him.

He throws THE biggest tantrums I have ever seen.

He is not super-into movies like Tucker was/is.

He likes to play in dirt but doesn't like getting food on him. : )

He tells me I look pretty or that he likes my shirt.

He picks me "flowers" whenever he goes outside.

Although Cole has been a little more "difficult" for me parenting-wise compared to Tucker, I love this kid more than I can put into words. He has taught me so much and I hope to be the best mother I can be for him! He has the biggest heart and so much love to share. He can make my heart melt with how sweet he can be to anyone and everyone. You make us all smile buddy!  Happy 3rd Birthday Colie Bear!!! We love you soo much!
