Friday evening, Tucker had his first school music performance! It. Was. Awesome! "The Three Piggy Opera." It was so stinkin' cute. I just spent forever trying to get the video to download, but I gave up on it and cancelled it. I almooosst didn't go because I knew they were selling the DVD of it, and had already pre-ordered it. I also knew Ryan was planning on going with some of his family. I had been signed up to go to a women's conference called Time Out For Women with my sister in law and mother in law that weekend. I had no idea Tuck's concert would be that night. When Tucker found out I was most likely not going to be there, he just cried and cried. I then realized I would much rather see my first-born's first concert then be at the conference that night. However, I also didn't want to drive by myself after the concert at night for almost three hours to get to the conference. My awesome mother in law decided she would wait to go with me until after the concert. It was most definately worth it. The best part is we told Tucker to make sure he sang loud so we could hear him. We did not know though, that he would be located RIGHT smack dab in front of the microphone. HAHA. His sweet little monotone voice just warms my heart!

| Fuuuuuzzzzyyy, fuzzy pic since I had to zoom in big time. |
After the concert my MIL and I went to Kansas City for the conference. It was fun chatting the whole drive up. I have an AMAZING mother-in-law, let me just tell ya. She is so fun. Once we got to the hotel and got to our room, we ended up just relaxing there until my sister-in-law got back from going out to dinner with some of her friends she came with. We laughed and talked until we all passed out. : )
Morning came toooooo fast. But, I love breakfast buffets. So I was willing to get out of bed for that reason, and that reason only. ; ) The Time Out For Women conference was incredible! We had awesome speakers who spoke with the Spirit. The theme was "Higher," and I definately felt inspired afterwards to reach a little higher to be a little better.

We got home Saturday evening exhausted but uplifted. Ryan had the boys ready for bed and Mackenzie asleep. Once the boys were in bed, we snuggled and watched two episodes of Castle. I ended up falling asleep on the couch, which reminds me of our dating days. I didn't know I had mono when we were dating, but you would have thought I had a sleeping disorder because I would fall asleep everywhere! : )
Today was just a normal, calm and quiet Sunday. We went to church, took naps afterwards, played outside, and went on a long walk around our neighborhood. The weather was perfect. It was so peaceful and it made me really think of how grateful I am for the beautiful world we live in! After we got back from our walk, we got to skype with two of my sisters, their husbands and babies, and my sister in law and her baby. We miss them all like crazy. Can't wait until our vacation to Maine in June with my family!!!!
Some pictures I love from this last week...
| she just has the biggest smile ever. : ) |
| Tucker is LOVING soccer! I was kind of surprised because of his devout love for baseball. : ) He is really doing well at learning the rules and picking up the different skills! |
| mackenzie loves to wear anybody's and everybody's shoes. : ) |
| Cole is awesome at playing soccer at home, but when he is out in front of everyone he gets super shy. It is good that Ryan is his coach. I love seeing Ry encouraging Cole to go for it! |
| I totally did not stage this. Tucker just pulled her over and gave her a hug, right in front of me. Perfect image to demonstrate what kind of a relationship they have. |
| He is just too stinkin' cute. He has the squishiest lil cheeks still, and i love to kiss them all over! Like clockwork, he immediately wipes those kisses off. : ) |
| It is so fun to see Cole and Tucker playing better together, especially when they are outside. He is getting so big now! |
What a fun weekend! Glad you could fit in both things that you wanted to do. :)
