Boys will be boys

My studly man Ry-guy is the best dad ever! He went hunting this morning (if you can't tell), came home, and immediately went and played with tuck outside while cole was napping. Ry made a swing in our backyard the other day out of old firehose-random but resourceful!- and it was cute to see them swing together today. The only downfall is its now like the neighborhood swing and everyone wants to come swing on it. : ( i kinda like my privacy. oh well...

I think Ryan's grandpa, or maybe his dad, gave tucker a batman kite not too long ago, so ryan helped tucker get that going today too. i love seeing ryan play with the boys. they adore him!

For fun the other day, we made a semi-quick version of Lightning McQueen. It only made sense to do so since Tuck is Lightning McQueen's pit crew chief for Halloween. It is not perfect, but he had fun with it- for like 2 seconds and then went off playing with the 2 rolls of tape I used, pretending they were racecars. go figure. haha, oh well, we still had fun making it and he still uses it every once in a while. right now its "parked" in my closet cause tuck doesn't want Cole to get it and ruin it lol.

We went to the zoo again the other day, this time with my sister-in-law Melissa, and my nephew Mathias.

When Ry was gone for business last week, the boys and I met up with my friend Carolee and her daughters at Bass Pro. Tucker is obsessed with the 4-wheelers and such. His face is awesome here. If you can tell, hes a natural!

One morning, Tucker decided he wanted to be a soldier. So, I remembered I had an old camo shirt my sisters and I wore for a church turkey bowl game one year. I gave it to Tuck a few months ago, and so I realized it would be perfect to wear to be a soldier!

Then, I just happened to also remember that as I was digging through Tucker's old clothes the other day, I spotted a camo onsie, just Cole's size. So, my little men became soldiers that day!

Ryan's grandma, Grandma Wilkin's had a Halloween party at her house a week or so ago, and that was so fun! Tucker was batman **he made his own costume from random things out of my mother-in-law Lois' Halloween stuff**, Cole was a pumpkin (once again from Lois' stuff), and my nephew Mathias was a frog! There were lots of people and we all had fun. But as you can tell, the boys were pooped and passed out within the first 5 minutes of driving home.

Tucker and Cole are just the sweetest together. They always give each other hugs and kisses- in between the pushing, pulling, kicking, and biting that are all starting to develop more and more. : ) boys will be boys. But, i just had to take a picture of Cole. He usually sits on the other side of the car, so there is a space between the boys, but since we were taking Mathias home, he sat next to Tucker. When we got to Mathias' house, I looked and saw Cole was holding on to Tuckers arm. Melted their momma's heart. I love them to pieces!

messy, crazy, fun!

Mr. Cole turned 1 on October 9th! The birthday pictures are kind of out of order, but we went to the farm park here in town, had pizza, cupcakes, gave the boys a bath, then opened presents. We had just a little party with the four of us because I am waiting for my parents to come into town next weekend to have a party for Cole. He definately loved the pizza and cupcake! He was not shy about it, if you can tell : )

Tucker is such a sweetie! He was so helpful for getting things together for the day.

Cole is definately his mother's child... I am confessing that yes, I am a chocoholic. I got it from my mother, so it must be genetic : )

Cole got some wooden blocks and a little piano for toddlers. He and Tucker love them both!

I love this picture of Ryan and Cole!!!

Cute little pose on our front porch

I seriously love my two baby boys soo much. My family means the world to me!

Me with the birthday boy at the Farm park

We went to the farm park a lot that week. This was one of the days where I just went with the boys. They are sitting in front of the pretty garden at the park. I couldn't get their attention long enough to get a decent picture, but hey, its still a memory!

Some pictures of what we have been up to lately:

Tucker helped me bake some festive brownies : )

We went to the Zoo here in town

Seriously so cute. I am not going to lie, I think my boys are adorable! I love the picture below with tucker's leg stretching across the background haha! They were freshly bathed and so I was in the process of getting them dressed when we just started dancing and playing. They are so much fun!
