December has come....

I am just blessed! I have the sweetest little boys I could have ever asked for. I am seriously so grateful for every second I have with them! Not to mention, they crack me up like crazy!!!

My little cowboys : )

cole looks a little suspicious, dont ya think? like maybe, he just went cow tippin'?
Ryan is the BEST! i swear, i am so lucky to have Ryan. He loves me no matter what. And trust me, my hormones are quite wack-o lately, and im definately not perfect, so im amazed at his unconditional love for me. The boys love him to death, and i actually get somewhat jealous/ sad at the attention he gets from them. BUT, i know it is because i am blessed to be with them all day every day, and not ryan. so when ryan is home, they just want to be with him. so i am grateful for the wonderful dad that he is. He is such a good example to me, not to mention he is one jumbo sized stud-muffin! : )
* and note this picture below... HE actually asked for someone to take it... and i am usually the one that has to force him to take a pic with me lol. so i want to remember that moment in time forever!

Our family gingerbread house. We made it at my in-laws. It was so fun to make it from start to finish. My mother in law has a recipe to make your own gingerbread and frosting... so it was a 100% from scratch! i loved watching what tucker was going to do next to decorate. he might have something going for him here... i spied a knack for architecture with those candies ; )
I got to help decorate our house too, and it was a blast! at first i was picky where tucker was putting candy, but then i just thought, what the heck am i doing? let him decorate it! he will LOVE IT, and who cares if its not perfect? im a weirdo for perfectionism on some things. so we both just worked on it together, and its not symmetrical, but i loved EVERY minute of it and i think it turned out pretty sweet if ya ask me ; )

Pink (supposed to be red) bathtime

Bunk beds my mom got for the boys back in october

Cole loves animals! he is always playing with the stuffed animals we have here at home. You can find him at least a couple of times a day walking around with a stuffed puppy with him saying "dah" or dog
Well, lots of fun things went on in december, and there is more to come. so until next time...
TO BE CONTINUED...

The flight of November

Thanksgiving picture recap:

*** Ya gotta love the fact that my parents actually attempted a push-up contest during Thanksgiving lol...

uhhh... well...where did November go? anyone know? welp, all i know is its the day after christmas, im sick on the couch in my new yoga pants with what i think is a horrid sinus infection, and im just now writing about some of the happenings of november. I figured, since ry and the boys are at his grandparents right now, i would take advantage of the quiet time to blog before ryan gets home and performs his nightly ritual of looking at craigslist and housing in our area. : )

So me and my wee little babes in November had a fun time going to the library, to friends houses, playing outside *at a time when weather still permitted*, reading books, coloring, making crafts, and going to play groups.

Before thanksgiving, we got to go to Ryan's grandparents farm, where some of these pics were taken. it was great to see them before we left to go home to alabama. For thanksgiving we went for a few days to go visit my family in birmingham. we got to see everyone and their spouses (including my awesome grandparents!) except my brother sean and his wife jessie. we missed them, but we still had a ton of fun being together. we ate A TON of good food my sisters and my mom made. for the most part im banned from cooking for my family because they think im the food nazi... but what they dont know, is that im really not all that strict : )... so they are missing out on some scrumptious dishes. well... not actual dishes but ya know, meals... : )

When we were in bama, we did a lot of grubbin, watchin football, movies, games, playing some minor league turkey bowl football, and just hanging out with the fam. I miss them all sooooOooo much, so it was fun to be with everyone, even if it was just a few days.

So Ryan went hunting a few times! he grew up hunting, and he loves it, and now that we are out of school, he can finally do it consistently! but i have to admit, every time he wanted to go, I had to fight the urge of not letting him go.... obviously because i wanted snuggle time : ) . But, he does love it, and he works so hard for us every day/all daythat i want him to hunt. he needs an outlet just like everyone else! But im not gonna lie, it was still hard to let him be gone from 5 in the morning till 5 at night on saturdays : ) anyway, long story short, i love him to pieces! He is so rugged in his camo, dont ya think? I love the picture with Tucker and Cole in their PJ's with Ryan after a long, hard day of hunting : )

I just love this picture of Ry and Cole, I think it is just precious

My sweet niece Brylee (pictured with my s.i.l. Irina) had her 1st birthday right before Thanksgiving. It was fun to be with her on her special day! : )

so now we have november covered, lets move on to December! : )

Halloween and Nana's visit

We were so excited that my mom was able to visit Halloween weekend! It was only a few days, but we packed it with as much fun as we could! We loved having her here and wish she could have stayed longer. We also wished my papa bear could have come too, but work was too crazy at the time. We went to a Halloween party at Ryan's parents house on Friday night. It was so fun and all the kid's costumes were cute! Tucker was Lightning McQueen's pit crew chief, and Cole was the Tin man from Wizard of Oz. Not too many adults dressed up, but those who did, looked awesome! I guess those who didn't dress up looked awesome too lol. I didn't want to buy a costume, so I just threw a few things together... I ended up being me when I was 7. I looked a bit ridiculous, but it was fun. Ryan of course was himself... very intriguing and creative : ) . We invited a few of our friends from church to come to the party- Colby and Carolee *and their sweet girls*, as well as Bruce and Christie. There were a ton of games for the kids and grown ups, and lots of delicious and spooky treats to eat. All I can say is the party was a hit! Saturday was full of shopping for the boys. Yay for grandma's! : ) My mom got the boys a bunk bed with army-ish bedding. Its adorable. Tucker is obviously the only one using it right now. We love it! Sunday we went to chuch and to a family dinner at granmda wilkin's house. It is always fun to go to grandmas. It was a beautiful day too! My mom was leaving at noon on monday, so before we dropped her off at the airport, we took her to bass pro to see where we go all the time! she loved it!!! i was actually surprised, but she thought it was the bomb! she had me take tons of pictures inside so she could show people how awesome it is. it was definately a fun-filled weekend! Thanks for coming momma! We love you Nana!
