First day of first grade!

He was so excited, he did not want to do pictures : )
On August 15th, Tucker started school again.

He still wants to be a fisherman when he grows up!

Hanging out with friends at the bus stop next door.

I was so busy talking to my neighbor, I didn't realize the kids went over to our house (not the normal bus stop), and the bus stopped for them there. I didn't get to give him a hug and kiss good-bye or wish him luck! I was stunned that just like that, he was off again for a new first day of school!

He didn't even look back. Not once. : (
Haha, I was so sad.
All smiles when he got back that afternoon!

Tuck was supposed to bring three things from home to describe him. These are the things he brought. : )

While Cole and Mackenzie were home with me...

I had them make funny faces for me. I love what they come up with!

Goofy babies

Cole fell asleep playing in his room. : ) That is his new way of taking naps. I don't "make" him take naps anymore. I just have him go to his room for quiet time, and about 50% of the time he ends up falling asleep. It is a lot less stressful for me to have him just have quiet time because he usually won't fight me over it- usually is the key. : )

Kenzie was so happy to have her big brother home. : )

We sure miss him when he is at school! He is such a good kid.

31 weeks!

Good golly miss molly! 31 weeks!! I will do my maternity Monday post next week. I was pondering this pregnancy tonight, and I realized it has been a tough one- the toughest one yet. So, for the (my) record...

Since the beginning of this pregnancy, I have experienced:

-bleeding (in the first trimester)
-nausea (reoccurring in the third trimester)
-headaches
-extreme fatigue
-vasodilation in my feet (making it hard to sleep)
-varicose veins in several locations
-heartburn that burns like the dickens
-random loss of appetite (nothing sounds good at the time!) even though I am starrrrrving
-reocurring depression and anxiety
-anemia
-round ligament pain
And...
-braxton hicks contractions that are very frequent and semi-uncomfortable.

Sheesh! Although I am uncomfortable, it's really not too bad, considering the prize at the end of this race. :-)  She's definately worth it. We want this sweet baby girl in our lives, and I will put up with whatever this pregnancy throws at me. On the bright side... Roughly only 9 more weeks till we meet this diva! :-)

Halloween preparations

Mr. Handsome!!! Cole is such a sweetie. And he has a great imagination. :-)

Okay, so we love autumn in this house. We have already been talking about Halloween  costumes. Tucker is dead set on being a zombie.

Cole on the other hand, is still not sure. So far, here are his ideas....

1. A pumpkin
2. A leaf
3. A branch
4. Poop
5. A shoe
6. A zombie, because duh! Tucker is being a zombie!

I could not stop laughing when Cole threw out the poop idea.
His 3 year and 10 month old mind makes me smile. He has the weirdest but cutest things to say!
