first time riding a 4 wheeler!!!
my little gnome man cole : )
for the thousands of you that look at my blog ; ) i know you have been feeling neglected. haha, i just made myself chuckle. i actually have thought about just not doing a blog anymore since we still don't have internet yet. sometimes i just feel like, really, who wants to know all this random info about my growing family? we aren't THAT interesting. but at the same time, it is a wee bit therapeutic. and i do enjoy a good blog post every now and again. so, here i am at my in-laws after general conference, bumming off of their wireless! yay for updates!!
cole (18 months on the 9th of april) is now going to nursery at church! and that is a relief for ryan because he had to watch him every sunday for the last 2 hours since im in primary. he had to have him with him, even when he had to teach the lessons every couple of weeks in young men's! dedicated young lad if you ask me-cole was getting to be quite the handful! so, im glad this time has come, so cole can get some of his energy out, have another snack, and play with the other kids. i can't think about it too much though because then i will cry my little eyes out. i know i am always saying this, but time seriously flies! my sweet babies are growing up too fast. anyway, so he is talking more, running faster, is more coordinated, loves to read, and has quite a temper. his thing when he is frustrated is to get on all fours and start slamming his head into the ground, whatever that ground might be (cement, metal, ect). but he is sure a sweetheart, he is so loving to everyone, especially his family, and ANY baby : ). he will always go up to a baby and try to pat its head or its arm. he gets so excited when ryan comes home from work! he sure loves his daddy. he loves to play with tucker and he will do ANYTHING that tucker does, even if that is smack himself in the head, babble randome things, or going to time-out. 2 for the price of one anyone? ; ) his nicknames vary between either squishy or stinky!
tucker (4 on the 27th of april) is talking so well! he is catching on to common phrases and big words that definately catch me off guard when he says them. and he is a ham, for sure! he loves to make people laugh and does that quite often. i have realized that he gets his weirdness from me, and his hyperness from ryan : ) he still loves to play with cars, to color, to read books, and to watch movies. he LOVES sports and is always trying to play baseball, football, or do karate in the house. im excited that warm weather is finally here so he can actually do those things (outside) without getting in trouble. he loves to play outside and to dig in the dirt. typical boy. he loves his friends and cousins that he gets to play with. he is such a great big brother and is definately excited for his little sister. he loves to help around the house and setting the table is one of his favorite ways to help me. he loves to sing songs, and is learning to sing new ones all the time. he melted my heart one night when he sang along with me as i sang him his bedtime song. it's a song my mom used to sing to me. when he sang it along with me, i couldn't finish the song very well because i was trying to hold back the tears! he is such a blessing to my life! he is in the sunbeams class at church now! i was bummed when i got released from nursery because i loved being in there with tucker and i wanted to be in there when cole came in. but now, i get to be with tucker even more in primary! so its been fun to see him transition (it hasn't been easy for him to adjust to sitting still for so long) and participate and learn about the gospel. he really wants to bear his testimony in church, and every fast sunday he asks to. so sometime soon, after some practice, i hope he will be ready because i know he wants to. **our bishopric in our ward asked that the really young children who need help still bear their testimonies at home, in class, ect. and not during sacrament** anyway, he is a fun-loving little bundle of energy. his nicknames are pumpkin and sweetie pie.
ryan has been in and out of town the last couple of months for business trips, and im glad he has been home for a couple of weeks now. i feel like a better mom/person with him around! he makes me want to be better.
i am around 20/21 weeks preggy now. im due sometime between the 15th and the 22nd of august. my due date was the 15th, but my ultrasound said the 22nd with all of the measurements. soo, the doctor said sometime between then is when this little GIRL would make her appearance (hopefully). then but that she was going to change my due date to be the 22nd. im feeling great! im still working out at the gym several times a week and a couple times at home on days i dont feel like driving all the way to the gym : ) im trying to cook/bake more and so that has been fun. ive really had the urge to be a better homemaker/mother/wife, so im trying to get better at things. there are so many things i want to do! i want to paint some paintings for our bedrooms. i especially want to learn how to sew, i just need to get my lazy bum to go and figure out how to use my sewing machine : ) ive been having the urge to break out my old text books from school too! i miss reading good ol' exercise science books. i just have been wanting to become more rounded out lately! what is this baby girl doing to me : ) anyway, we are all good and having fun!!!!
I read your blog! I love seeing what you guys are up to. And I'm really excited that you're having a girl! It gives me hope that after having had my two boys, I can have a girl next time around!
